God Created You for Connection

From the very beginning, God said it was not good for man to be alone (Genesis 2:18). We were created for relationship—first with God, and then with one another. The gospel of Jesus Christ speaks directly to the ache of isolation:

8 God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! (Romans 5:8–9 NIV)

Jesus came to draw near to the brokenhearted, to restore what’s been lost, and to bring us into a family—not just a religious group, but a real, life-giving, grace-filled community.

The Church is More Than a Building—It’s a Family

In Acts 2, we see a picture of the early church:
46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,
47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. (Acts 2:46–47 NIV)
